Season 2026 UmattR TV Episode 3:

Kelly Gong kicks off this episode of UmattR TV with an honest, energetic round table featuring Maddie Schmidt, Graham McWilliams, and Lucas Quintana, who are students who are all-in on leadership, service, and making a difference. They share a little about who they are (sports, student council, clubs, and big personalities), but the conversation quickly turns into something bigger: the pressure of growing up, choosing a path after high school, and navigating a future that feels exciting and intimidating at the same time.

As they talk about college plans, careers, and even how fast technology is changing the world, you can hear a theme emerging: every student is trying to find direction while staying true to who they are. Whether it’s balancing a demanding academic track, dealing with coaching changes, managing health challenges, or simply figuring out what “adult life” is supposed to look like. They also highlight how important it is to surround yourself with positive people and supportive communities, because nobody is meant to carry life alone.

The most powerful moments come when these students share the “why” behind their UmattR/You Matter journey (stories of family hardship, substance abuse impacts, chronic illness, bullying, self-harm struggles, faith, and cultural identity.) Their message is clear: your story has value, and speaking up can be life changing. This is exactly what UmattR stands for, helping students find their voice, build hope, and leave a thumbprint on someone else’s heart. If you’re a student who’s struggling, please reach out to a trusted adult, counselor, coach, or someone you know will listen-because you matter, and help is real.
