Meet Joslyn Brooks
Joslyn Brooks from Aztec High School:
Hey Y’all! My name is Joslyn Brooks and I go to Aztec High. I am involved in student council and National Honors Society. I’m a new member of UmattR and I’m so excited to be a part of this year’s team! I wanted to start off by introducing myself a little bit. So, the number one thing in my life is Jesus Christ! I go to First Baptist Church of Aztec and God has led me to be involved with several ministries within the church. Serving Jesus Christ is the most important thing to me! I am also a dancer! I have been dancing for fifteen years. I am a competitive dancer with Inspire Dance academy, and I am also a hip-hop teacher! I hope to pursue dance in the future through teaching and choreographing dances. This summer, I went on a lot of trips, spent time with my family and friends, and I took some college classes! I went to kids’ camp as a leader, went to my own youth camp, went on a mission trip, and I went camping with my family. I also spent some time teaching and taking dance classes! While I’m not totally ready for summer to be over, I’m excited to see what else God has in store for this year!
