Meet Izzy Kelly
Izzy Kelly from Farmington High School:
Hi everyone! My name is Izzy Kelley, and I am a member of this year's UmattR team! I am a senior at FHS, I am the Vice President of National honor society, a tennis player, and I participate in my youth group for church!
Outside of school and my activities, I enjoy spending time with my friends! I love hiking and being outdoors, painting, reading, and being with my family. My family is very important to me because I wouldn’t be where I am without their support and love. I do have a big, blended family but I wouldn’t have it any other way, it has shaped me to be the person I am today. This summer I got to do some fun hikes like adrenaline falls and cascade. I would say my favorite hiking destinations are waterfalls, they’re so pretty and I love to be able to get in the water after a long hike.
Something I love about the outdoors is how it makes me feel closer to God, looking at all His beautiful and unique creations. I have a strong faith and I love that I can turn to God in times of struggle. A huge reason why I stay drug and alcohol free is because I want to do things that make me happy and successful in the long run, which drugs and alcohol will never be able to do. I’m so excited to be on the team this year and meet new people and make more friends that have similar values as me! All while helping bring awareness to how everyone has struggles and you can always find a way to change for the better.
